Ancient Basilisk

Traits

Serpent’s Eyes. The baslilisk has two gleaming yellow eyes. A creature can target the eyes with any attack that requires an attack roll by imposing disadvantage on the roll made to hit the basilisk.

Death Gaze. If a creature starts its turn within 60 feet of the balilisk and the two of them can see each other, the creature must make a Dexterity saving throw.

Fear of Roosters. A basilisk that starts its turn within 120 feet of a rooster must make a Wisdome saving throw.

Spell Resistant. Any time the basilisk is targeted by a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, the basilisk is unaffected.

Hold Breath. The basilisk can hold its breath for 1 hour.

Multiattack. The basilisk makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its tail.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 3d8+@mod piercing damage plus 12d6 poison damage. The basilisk attacks with its Bite.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target. Hit: 2d10+@mod bludgeoning damage. The basilisk makes an attack with its tail.
